| Jeff Lind and Lee Ramsdell Named Officers of Clark Insurance |

3.24.11 The Board of Directors of Clark Insurance has elected two new officers of the corporation at their annual meeting according to company president Kenneth Ross. Jeffrey Lind of Limington was elected treasurer and Lee Ramsdell of Scarborough was elected secretary. Lind is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine and has been with the agency for 18 years. He has earned industry designations of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, Certified Insurance Counselor and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist. He also serves on the board of the Construction Financial Management Association in Maine. Lee Ramsdell is a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida and has been with the agency for 25 years. His professional designations include Certified Insurance Counselor as well as Accredited Adviser in Insurance. Ramsdell also serves on the board of directors of the Robbie Foundation. According to Ross, “We are about to celebrate our eightieth anniversary in business and, with these elections, are helping to ensure the perpetuation of this business. Both of these individuals have a deep knowledge of our profession and have years of service ahead of them.” Clark Insurance is one of the region’s largest independent insurance agencies with offices in Portland, Windham, Saco and Manchester, NH. | Tony Payne Joins Clark as Business Development Director |

2.28.11 Tony Payne of Falmouth has been named business development director at Clark Insurance, one of Maine’s leading independent insurance agencies with offices in Portland, Saco and Manchester, NH. Payne is the former vice president of underwriting and marketing for Maine Employers’ Mutual Insurance Company and New England regional vice president of communications for OneBeacon Insurance. Most recently, Payne served as the executive director of the Alliance for Maine’s Future, advocates for Maine’s economy. He is a member of the Board of Visitors of the University of Southern Maine and serves as chairman of the Falmouth Town Council. He also is a graduate of Cheverus High School and Hobart College. |
